The World Cup may already be over, but when we looked at the best kits a week ago, I thought we might as well take a look at the less successful ones too...

The principle of the quiz is exactly the same, but for the record... Once you start the quiz, you’ll be shown 14 images of football kits that made the Football Kit Archive’s top 10 lists of the least successful kits from various World Cups. The kits were selected from tournaments between 1990 and 2022, with an effort to keep the difficulty balanced. So you’ll find kits you’ll recognize more quickly, as well as kits that should be more challenging. For each kit, you’ll see its average rating (1 = worst, 5 = best) and the year it comes from. If you get stuck, a hint will reveal the qualification zone the country belongs to—or would belong to today. On every kit, the logo, flag, or another national symbol is blacked out.

Just for interest: the least successful kits from the selected period were worn by Switzerland at the 2022 World Cup. Visitors to the website mentioned gave them an average score of 1.87.
