The International Centre for Sports Studies, known as CIES, has published the best XIs from the competitions it monitors. Players made the final selections based on statistics across eight areas of play; for goalkeepers, it is the difference between expected goals conceded and goals actually conceded. In this quiz, we’ll look at which players CIES rated as the best in the TOP 5 leagues.
